Biographical Info

Elaine Darling is an Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who works in the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine. She collaborates with board certified surgeons who specialize in laparoscopic, robotic, complex open colon, rectal and abdominal surgeries. She performs detailed and comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments for patients before and after colorectal surgeries and procedures. Elaine serves as the Colon Cancer Center of Excellence coordinator and survivorship specialist for oncology patients. Elaine participates in various committees aimed at improving patient care.

Elaine graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. Prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, she was working at Cleveland Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner in GYN Oncology. Elaine is a certified oncology nurse and has a focus on survivorship care for our colorectal cancer patients.
